We Connect People

Mtaa is Swahili for neighborhood and Net is short for network. MtaaNet is an online platform for connecting people inspired by the golden rule "love thy neighbour as thyself" hence our slogan "we connect people".

We seek to connect people for assistance, opportunities and partnerships. Assistance means food relief, house rent, scholarships and medical aid. Opportunities means courses, events, jobs, tenders, projects, properties, products and services. Partnerships means mediation, mentorship as well as spouse matching! 🙂

Our target audience include: students, educators, employers, recruitment agencies, professionals, entrepreneurs, car owners and vendors, drivers, landlords, real estate agents, tenants, farmers, supply chains, community, faith-based and political organisations, among others.

Our Vision is to create over 1 million jobs globally (including 20,000 jobs locally) directly as a tech-savvy social impact organisation aligned with UN SDGs 1-4, 8, 9, 16 & 17. We are open to both donors and investors.

The Founder attracted an investor of USD 100,000 at KCB Lions' Den (a franchise of Shark Tank USA) though the deal was not concluded due to their 60:40 rather than his 50:50 revenue sharing proposal. The TV show selects 100 finalists out of 5,000 applicants and only about 25 (0.5%) receive an offer as he did by an investor who heard his pitch once with no prior information. This is a vote of investor trust. His profile is available on LinkedIn.
